2001 · Documentary · 1h 0m

In this intimate documentary, Fatih Akin traces his family's migration from a Turkish village to Hamburg in the 1960s. Through personal memories and conversations with his parents, he examines the sacrifices of starting over, the tension between two cultures, and the lasting question of where one truly belongs.
